Kunst og Samspill For Barn og Unge

All the peoples of the world are thy relatives

Yāvarum kēḷir

This year, we are proud to mark the 20th anniversary of our dance center with a special video project and performance titled "Yāvarum kēḷir".

The title is inspired by the profound words of the Tamil philosopher and poet Kaniyan Pungundranar, who wrote "Yaadhum Oore Yaavarum Kelir" over 2,000 years ago. In Tamil, this means, "All the places of the world are thy living place. All the peoples of the world are thy relatives."

This timeless poem emphasizes the idea that humanity is one—united by a shared moral and legal code. It rejects the divisions that separate us and calls for the recognition of the universality of all people. It is a powerful reminder of our collective responsibility to each other and to the world.
We are thrilled to present this video presentation this year, a culmination of our joy and relief in coming together once again after such a challenging time. The process of dancing together has been both a celebration and a healing experience for all of us.

At the heart of this performance lies our unwavering commitment to our original vision: Art that beats for Humanity.Through dance, we continue to celebrate our shared human experience and embrace the universal connection that binds us all.
