ஞானரதம்

சாந்தியா? உண்மையா? தர்மமா? அல்லது காதலும் இன்பமுமா?  மனித மனங்கள் எதைத் தேடியலைகின்றன? மண்ணுல யதார்த்தத்தில் இவையெல்லாம் கிடைத்துவிட்டால் மனதின் தேடல் தீர்ந்திடுமா என்ன?  இந்தக் கேள்விகளைச் சுமந்துகொண்டு ஐந்து உலகங்களை உருவாக்குகிறான் பாரதி! வாழ்வின் உன்னத கணங்களைத் தேடிப் புறப்படுகிறது அவன் ஞானரதம்.  ஞானரதம் வெளிவந்த காலத்தில் அது தமிழ்இலக்கியத்தில் புது முயற்சி. அவனது ஒவ்வொரு கற்பனையுலகும் பல உயர்ந்த தத்துவங்களை நமக்குக் கற்றுத் தருகின்றன.

அவனுடைய படைப்புகள் அனைத்தும் ஒன்றோடு ஒன்று தொடர்புடையவை. ஒரு சமயம் கதை எழுதிவிட்டு அதை பாடலாக ஆக்கியிப்பான். மற்றொரு சமயம் எழுதிய பாடலை உரைநடை வடிவிலும் கதை வடிவிலும் புனைந்திருப்பான்.  பாரதியின் கவிதைகளைப் படிக்கும் போது ஞானரதத்தை அவன் அவனுடைய கவிதைகளுக்குள்ளும் ஓட்டித் திரிந்துள்ளதை நாம் தெரிந்து கொள்ளலாம். ஞானத்தின் தேடலில் ”நாலிலே ஒன்றிரண்டு பலித்திடலாம்” என்று பாரதியே ஒரு கனவுக் கவிதையில் கூறுகின்றான்.

ஞானரதத்தை நடன நாடகமாக்கும் வடிவமைப்பிற்கு அவனுடைய பாடல்களிலிருந்தே பொருத்தமானவற்றைத் தெரிந்தெடுத்துள்ளோம்.
தேடல்... ஆத்மத் தேடல்...
